House of Aquarius. Lightning is useful in understanding the nature of the Aquarian mind. Like lightning, the Aquarian intellect can come up with a radically new concept and greatly alter the way something is perceived. The Aquarian mind is futuristic and revolutionary and the ideas seem to come on suddenly - literally a bolt out of the blue. In it’s highest manifestation, the Aquarian influence mimics these airborne fireworks making you feel as if you just got a glimpse of the future. Think of what Rakim and Dr. Dre did with hiphop or Jordan with basketball and branding. Or Oprah Winfrey with mass media.
Blame Uranus. Planet of revolution and co-ruler of the house of Aquarius. Uranus brings that mad man Dr. Frankenstein-in-the-lab energy to the Aquarian personality.

Controversial Facebook Photos of the Day: Air National Guard members Terran Echegoyen-McCabe and Christina Luna recently posted to Facebook several pics of themselves breastfeeding in fatigues — which they do all the time on Fairchild Airforce Base in Spokane, Washington – and their photos have prompted outcry from around the world.
No matter that there are no rules in military conduct against breastfeeding in uniform; one disparaging Facebook comment compared the images to “urinating and defecating.”
Fellow soldier Rita Trujillo commented:
“I as one of many women who fought long and hard to be accepted and respected as fellow soldiers and the right to wear these uniforms feel shocked, angry at these published photos.”The photos were taken for the Mom2Mom Breastfeeding Support Group, which raises awareness of women’s right to breastfeed in public.
America hates mothers in a way that is so insipid, you have WOMEN disparaging other WOMEN for doing what the breast was intended to do and being active engaged mothers.
And why?
Because “I as one of many women who fought long and hard to be accepted and respected as fellow soldiers and the right to wear these uniforms feel shocked, angry at these published photos.”
This is a statement made by a woman about how women feeding their children in their work fatigues damages her status and acceptance as a female soldier. Meaning motherhood is seen as something “weak” and breastfeeding is “dirty”.
Patriarchy is a hell of a drug.

Canada’s teen birth and abortion rate drops by 36.9 per cent
Better access to contraception, higher quality sex education and shifting social norms have contributed to a 36.9 per cent decline in Canada’s teen birth and abortion rate between 1996 and 2006, according to a report released today by the Sex Information and Education Council of Canada.
America’s emphasis on abstinence-only sex ed “tends to result in a higher percentage of teens becoming pregnant,” as does the country’s lack of universal health care. Poverty is another factor.
Among the four countries compared for 2006, Canada boasted the lowest teen birth and abortion rate per 1,000 women aged 15 to 19 (27.9), followed by Sweden (31.4), England/Wales (60.3), and the United States (61.2).
THIRTY-SEVEN PERCENT DECREASE? Goddamn. How much more proof will people need before they realize how ineffective Abstinence-Only sex education is?
It doesn’t matter how much evidence we have. Zealots will cling to their beliefs.
This reminds me of the LA high school where they cut teen pregnancies by two-thirds after putting a Planned Parenthood on campus. Sex ed works, abstinence doesn’t.
